2016 Competition Rulebook

If you’ve participated in MIST previously, you will notice the following important changes:

  • Changed "Qu'ran Recitation" to "Qur'an Memorization"

  • Updated Qur'an levels and ballots

  • Changed Debate from Lincoln-Douglas to Parliamentary 

  • Updated Nasheed ballot

  • Minor changes to other rules and ballots

This year’s Knowledge Test books are:

2. How to Read a Book: The Classic Guide to Intelligent Reading (A Touchstone book) by Mortimer J. Adler et al.
3. Rising Strong by Brene Brown
4. Green Deen: What Islam Teaches about Protecting the Planet by Ibrahim Abdul-Matin
